HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Multiple people are injured following a wreck on Thursday night in Huntsville.

Huntsville Police said the roadway from Parkhill Road to Scenic Overlook was closed due to a multi-car wreck.

According to Huntsville Emergency Medical Services Inc. (HEMSI) spokesperson Don Webster, the wreck involved two cars with five patients, including two teenagers. Two of those injured are in critical condition.

Authorities have not released any information about how the wreck occurred.
