Two people killed in separate wrecks across Madison County identified

MADISON CO., Ala. (WAFF) - The two people who were killed in two separate wrecks on Wednesday morning have been identified.

Madison County Coroner Tyler Berryhill identified one of the victims as 63-year-old John Cooper/

Cooper was riding on his motorcycle when he and several other vehicles were involved in the wreck.

The accident happened just before 6:30 a.m. on Winchester Rd. and Memorial Parkway.
Officials are investigating.

Don Webster with Huntsville Emergency Medical Services said the other fatal wreck happened just after 5:30 a.m. at McKee Rd. and Carroll Rd. in Harvest.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency identified the deceased man as 25-year-old James E. Warren III of Florence.

Officials say Warren was fatally injured when the 2002 GMC Sonoma he was driving struck the 2005 GMC Yukon driven by 24-year-old Nathan G. Small of Hazel Green.
Warren was pronounced dead at the scene, Small was injured and transported to Huntsville Hospital for medical treatment.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating.
